Výzva je zacielená na nízkoemisné a kompetitívne riešenia pre všetky dopravné módy. Výskum sa zameria na elektrifikáciu všetkých druhov dopravy, batérie a palivové články ako aj na hybridné technológie, na skvalitnenie a interoperabilitu dopravnej infraštruktúry. Podmienkou využívania nových a alternatívnych palív bude ich udržateľnosť. Bezpečnosť dopravy bude riešená komplexne, ako v jednotlivých druhoch dopravy, tak aj z hľadiska celého dopravného systému s využitím systémových analýz vzorcov mobility.

- Enabling climate neutral, clean, smart, and competitive waterborne transport (vodná doprava),
