An experienced German university institute is offering their scientific research services on legal and ethical questions arising from the development of novel technologies (TODE20220524001)

The German university institute is dealing with scientific research on legal problems of Information and Communication Technologies. The institute focuses on scientific research for ethical and legal issues arising from the use of novel technologies and digital innovations. Due to their wide experience in collaborations with industrial and scientific partners, they are looking for suitable partners from both fields They are interested in collaborating under a research cooperation agreement. The institute is looking for suitable partners both from industrial and scientific fields in order to share its expertise and knowledge in the context of the projects focussing on the research and development of novel technologies. Furthermore, they are keen to participate in suitable projects associated with European research funding programms like Horizon Europe. With their expertise and experience on legal questions in the context of novel technologies and data protection law, they are able to fundamentally enrich project consortia.

Belgian SME giving a second life to used batteries from electric vehicles is looking for partners in the second-life battery value chain, for supply of batteries, production and assembly for technical cooperation and Horizon Europe research projects (TOBE20220428039)

Belgian start-up in second-life stationary energy storage has developed proprietary software for advanced battery analytics to monitor and optimize second-life battery energy storage systems to predict degradation while in operation. The company is looking for partners in the battery value chain, the supply of dismantled/tested automotive batteries, battery system assemblers or system integrators for commercial agreement with technical assistance, technical cooperation, Horizon Europe projects. They are looking for technology partners to supply dismantled and tested automotive batteries, system integrators/assembly facilities to execute the repurposing of the batteries into a stationary energy storage systems, partners with industrial sites, PV/wind plants to install and pilot a second-life battery energy storage system as well as research partners to join Horizon Europe project calls. Horizon Europe calls of interest are:
• HORIZON-CL5-2022-D2-01-07: Digitalisation of battery testing, from cell to system level, including lifetime assessment (deadline: 6 September 2022)
• HORIZON-CL5-2022-D2-01-09: Physics and data-based battery management for optimised battery utilisation (Batteries Partnership) (deadline: 6 September 2022)
• HORIZON-CL5-2022-D2-01-10: Streamlined collection and reversed logistics, fully automated, safe and cost-efficient sorting, dismantling and second use before recycling (Batteries Partnership) (deadline: 6 September 2022)

HORIZON-EIC-2022-PATHFINDEROPEN-01 – looking for partners with expertise in the development of a 3D vision platform and in the development of a microtechnical and micromechanical platform for a camera system for non invasive surgery (RDRIT20220414011)
An Italian research team is looking for partners to complete a Consortium for a Pathfinder Open proposal. The aim is developing an innovative resectoscope for trans-urethral resection of the bladder (TURB). The partner sought should be expert in developing a microcamera system for non-invasive surgery based on micromechanical movements, or the development of a 3D vision platform with an AI-based, image recognition and analysis, augmented reality system.

The Italian research team is searching partners with:

  1. Expertise in the development of a 3D vision platform. Required tasks: optic system integration to 3D image reconstruction; infrared vision implementation; 3D vision reconstruction and horizon fixation.
  2. Expertise in the development of a micro-technical and micro-mechanical platform for a camera system for non invasive surgery. Required tasks: IMU sensor platform design (implementation, integration, testing); miniaturized arm for deployment of the cameras and light sources; instrument prototype implementation and testing.
