Austrian healthtech start-up seeks coordinator for Horizon Europe Call for a point of care solution
An Austrian SME has developed an app to support and relieve healthcare professionals in clinical settings with high performance technology and secure devices, which collect and analyse real-time data at the point of care. In the planned Horizon Europe project, research will be carried out on patients‘ pose, movement and face recognition with subsequent AI analysis. A consortium for the call is in place but, due to resource limitations, a coordinator is sought in a research cooperation agreement.
Industrial partners sought for the joint development of new repair concepts for polymers/composites
An Austrian research organisation is working on a research proposal, which addresses innovative repair concepts for polymers and polymer composites from the molecular to the macroscopic level. A new generation of repairable/recyclable technical and consumer goods with enhanced lifetime will be developed. The institute seeks industrial partners positioned along the value chain of polymer-based products, who are interested in researching/developing repair strategies for their materials/products.
Hungarian biotech SME is developing a novel class of CNS therapies using chemogenetics. The company would like to apply for EIC Pathfinder Open 2023 call. The therapy will consist of a single microinjection and a subsequent pharmacotherapy. It is looking for partner companies manufacturing and developing electrodes to be applied in neurosurgery or devices for microinjection or electroporation. Companies developing solutions for in vivo neuronal transduction or transfection are also awaited.

A consortium co-ordinated by a German University hospital wants to develop and investigate the benefits of a novel holistic digital health platform allowing early recognition, precise diagnosis, prevention and management of mental disorders, enhancing overall health and mental well-being in a scalable, reusable and cost-efficient way. The proposal will be submitted under HORIZON-JU-IHI-2022-03-05 and the consortium looks for a tech-industry partner supporting a mobile application.

A consortium, coordinated by a Spanish R&D organization, knowing the problems related to the safety of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), the development of high-performance and safer next-generation batteries, is preparing a proposal for HORIZON-CL5-2023-D2-02-02.
