Nový európsky Bauhaus (NEB) je iniciatíva EÚ, ktorú Európska komisia predstavila v roku 2021. NEB podporuje udržateľné riešenia na transformáciu zastavaného prostredia a životného štýlu v rámci ekologického prechodu. Hľadá riešenia, ktoré sú nielen udržateľné, ale aj inkluzívne a krásne, pričom rešpektujú rozmanitosť miest, tradícií a kultúr v Európe i mimo nej.
Nový európsky Bauhaus:
- zapája ľudí na základnej úrovni, pričom sa zameriava na susedské štvrte ,
- poskytuje prostriedky a poradenstvo ,
- ponúka riešenia šité na mieru rôznym komunitám ,
- zapája názory rôznych zainteresovaných strán do procesu navrhovania a realizácie ,
- uprednostňuje ľudí a sociálnu inklúziu, ale aj hospodárstvo s cieľom zvýšiť konkurencieschopnosť a strategickú autonómiu EÚ .
