The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Presidency Conference (MSCA2020.hr): MSCA impact and future challenges will take place in Zagreb, the Westin Hotel, on 27-28 April 2020, under the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Conference will be organised by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education together with the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes as well as with the kind cooperation of the European Commission.
One of the main activities of Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions is promoting scientific excellence and empowering researchers at all stages of their careers and areas of research. The goals of the Conference are, as follows: firstly, to demonstrate the impact and importance of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions on researchers and, consequently, on the strengthening of the European Research Area.
Under the Croatian presidency priority, A Europe that develops, by strengthening skills and competitiveness, the Conference will focus on balanced mobility of scientists and researchers, promoting lifelong, high-quality learning as well as developing skills for jobs of the future. By providing examples of good practice, stimulating discussions and encouraging interaction between all relevant stakeholders, the conference will focus on two objectives: MSCA’s role in achieving positive, fair and balanced brain circulation, future challenges and future career demands for researchers.
The conference aims to bring together scientific community, experts and evaluators, representatives from non-academic sector, representatives from European Commission, Horizon2020 National Contact Points and Programme Committee members, Member States policy makers, officials and stakeholders from across Europe to have high-level discussions platform on the impact of the MSCA on brain circulation and transformed research landscape.
