  • Description of the expertise offered
    The main research interests include metabolic and kidney disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, hormones and behavior, the role of fetal DNA in pathogenesis, molecular diagnostics/therapy, gene delivery systems. We offer in vivo studies in mice and rats, various animal models of disease, cell culture experiments, gene expression analysis, sequencing, preparation of gene delivery vectors, behavioral tests in mice and rats, analysis of hormone levels, markers of metabolic disease, research on diabetes, cell-free DNA.

    Institute of Molecular Biomedicine (IMBM) is a research institute within Comenius University in Bratislava. It consists of experienced senior members, young postdocs, as well as many PhD students, who create an active and productive work environment. IMBM is one of the most successful research institutes within Comenius University.
