  • Description of the expertise offered
We are open to different formats of cooperation by offering our experience in creation the whole concept of the program and idea content of interactive events that can popularise the science. SOVVA has already successfully implemented 8 years of Researchers’ Night in Slovakia and we have rich experience from coordination of the 7th Framework Programme. In regard to this experience we would like to strengthen the impact, enhance the resonance of popularizing activities and give them international scope and make science the hot topic for public in general. We could for example prepare a series of science exhibitions and cafés in the venues of the most successful Slovak bookshops, cooperating science museums, entertaining and educational science centres and new multicultural centres or creative environments covering all country´s territory. Program will react and discuss not only global burning issues but also everyday problems and practical questions of common people. Thanks to the direct discussions with the researchers, people will more likely appreciate successes of the science and will understand that our daily life is strongly influenced by scientific knowledge. The partnership with one of the most popular Slovak bookshop will bring lot of interesting opportunities to present our activities, e.g. within the program of the biggest Slovak festival Pohoda which is well-known through the whole Europe.
