Climate-KIC, Europe’s largest public-private innovation partnership focused on climate innovation to mitigate and adapt to climate change, would like to bring to your attention an ongoing call for applications for the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme, a structured outreach scheme to boost the climate innovation capacity of regions not yet directly benefitting from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and its Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs). We would kindly ask you to help us disseminate the information to relevant stakeholders in your countries. Applications are open until 10 June 2016.
Who are we looking for?
We want to access your expertise and to work with you on addressing the climate and sustainability challenges of your region and seek organisations from the private sector, public sector (e.g. regional or city development authorities) or research and academic organisations to join our community, and shape our innovation, business creation and professional education portfolios. Consortia or partnerships of several organisations uniting these perspectives are encouraged.
What is in it for you?
Through the EIT RIS, Climate-KIC is looking to expand its geographical reach and bring in committed partners to join our community. Climate-KIC intends to enter into Partnership Agreements with the selected EIT RIS partners. By becoming a Climate-KIC partner you will gain access to a range of benefits and services, including funding under the EIT RIS. Synergies and complementarities with other EU, national, regional innovation initiatives and funding instruments are encouraged.
How can you apply?
